This is not a wear app, it cannot be installed in your watch. It only allows viewing the app notifications in the band.
To sync in miBand 2 and 3 go to miFit>Profile>Notifications alert>Administer apps.
With the miBand 2 you have to use the miBand master app to see the text.
For Amazfit bip/place/stratos you may need the miFit or alert bridge apps.
